What is Apple Pay and how does it work with my Petal card?
Apple Pay is a payment feature for iOs devices that lets you ditch your physical credit card when making purchases in-store or online at participating retailers. With Apple Pay, you don’t need to swipe your card or enter your card information—once your Petal card is added to your Wallet® app on your supported iOs device, you can check out with just a touch or a glance.

How do I add my Petal card to my Apple Wallet®?
To add your Petal card to Apple Pay, go to the Wallet® app on your iOS device, tap the button, and then follow the steps. You can download the Wallet app for free from the Apple app store, if you haven’t already.
The security of your account is a top priority for us, so you may be asked to verify your identity to get your Petal card loaded into your Wallet®. Don’t worry—it won’t take long and your card should be loaded in no time!

Do I still get cash back when I use my Petal card with Apple Pay?
Yes, you receive all of the same rewards, security, and benefits of your physical Petal card when you use it with Apple Pay. Apple Pay is just another way you can #PaywithPetal!
Is using my Petal card with Apple Pay safe?
Yes. Apple Pay integrates advanced information security features designed to help keep your account information safe and make it difficult for unauthorized parties to access your information! For example, when you pay with your Petal card, Apple Pay doesn’t keep transaction information that can be tied back to you. Apple Pay also uses a Device Account Number and unique transaction code, so your card number is never stored on your device.
Plus, when you make purchases using your Petal Card with Apple Pay, you get all the other security benefits your get with your physical Petal card!
If I receive a replacement physical Petal card, do I need to update my card information with Apple Pay?
No. Your Device Account Number is connected to your new card number automatically, and you can even use your card in Apple Pay to make purchases before receiving your new card!
