You can either hide or remove an account on your Petal account directly in your Accounts page. Removing an account completely removes the entire financial institution, while hiding simply removes the visibility of the account from your Petal account. For example, if you want to remove your Chase savings account, but you want to keep your Chase checking account, you’ll have to either hide the savings account, or you’ll have to remove the entire Chase institution and then go back and link only your Chase checking account.
To hide an account:
- Log in to your Petal account and go to your Accounts page
- Select the account you’d like to hide
- Tap the Hide account switch to hide the account
To unhide a currently hidden account:
- Log in to your Petal account and go to your Accounts page
- Select Hidden accounts
- Tap the switch on the account you’d like to unhide, and you’re good to go! You’ll be able to see the account in your accounts tab and use it to make payments as normal
To remove an account:
- Log in to your Petal account and go to your Accounts page
- Select Manage accounts
- Select the account you'd like to remove
