In May 2024, Tilt acquired Petal. Petal cards were created to help people access credit, and now, as part of the Tilt family, we can deliver on this mission at a greater scale.
If you’re an existing Petal cardmember, there are no changes to your account.
If you’re not eligible for a Petal card right now, Tilt Cash Advance or the Tilt line of credit may be a good fit. Fair, accessible financial products — it’s all in the family.
FAQs
Why does my Petal support email or ticket mention Tilt?
Petal is part of the Tilt family. Some of the tools we use behind the scenes to support you are shared with Tilt. This doesn't change your Petal Card, your account, or how you manage it day to day.
Is my account changing?
No. Your Petal Card, your terms, your app, and how you make payments all stay exactly the same. This change only affects internal support tools, not your account.
Do I need to do anything?
No action is needed. Keep using the Petal app and reaching us the same way you always have.
Is this a new account or a different company?
No. It's still your same Petal account. Petal is simply part of the Tilt family of products.
Will my phone support experience change?
No. Our phone line and automated system are still Petal.
Will my email support experience change?
You'll still email us and hear back at support@petal.com. You may see some references to Tilt in our tools or footers — that's expected and doesn't affect your account.
Was Petal acquired by Tilt?
Yes — Petal is part of the Tilt family. This is public information, and it doesn't change your card terms, your account, or your day-to-day experience.
Who do I contact with questions about my card?
Reach out the same way you do today — through the Petal app, by calling us at 1-855-697-3825, or by sending off an email to support@petal.com!
